Goals for July 2017

Summer is here! I’m so excited about the warm weather and being able to get outside and go on adventures. This is going to be a busy month so there will be plenty of content! But here are some goals I want to accomplish this month.
- Quilt as You Go Sewing Project – With this I plan to do a series of blog posts and a series of YouTube videos.
- Make Master Plan from the Book: Pattern Making for Menswear – This is a long term goal. Something that I will be working on incrementally over the next few months. I will be doing YouTube videos of me constructing the garments and trying them on for sizing. I can’t go into the specific information in the book since it’s not my material.
- Weekly Photoshoots Outside – I need to get out of the house and start taking pictures of new places. For now this will probably be local stuff but hopefully as time goes on I will be taking trips and getting a lot of photos and videos.
Stay tuned for posts on my progress throughout the month. And don’t be afraid to call me out if you don’t see progress towards completing these goals! I need some accountability in my life!

I uploaded a new YouTube video! I recorded this last week before I went to Bangor. I got excited and sat down to practice filming. This isn’t perfect and I didn’t bother replacing the audio from the camera with the lapel microphone. But here it is! Help me out my watching it and going and subscribing to my channel!

For anybody that knows me, sewing is not something you would picture me doing. In fact I’m a little surprised myself that I got interested in this. But I needed something to occupy my time. With most other aspects of my life being virtual I needed something tangible that I could do with my hands. So after some strange occurrences a new passion is born.
